Building down instead of up
By combining sympathetic new build and part refurbishment we were able to maintain the building’s architectural integrity throughout. But the innovation that gave us the space required for six exceptional apartments was the inclusion of a basement. Stretching across the entire footprint of the property this additional ‘storey’ ensured the self-contained apartments achieved the optimum internal living space.

As part of our project management we used our vast experience of constructing basements to the full. Working with Delta Membranes Ltd – Europe’s leading water ingress specialists and a company we have collaborated with on several projects – we implemented a detailed and bespoke membrane design for the structure. One that is backed by a 30 year guarantee.
 
The space created, and the superlative level of finish in the individual apartments were the key to the homes attracting well-heeled buyers and realising the investor’s expectations.
